Why? Because here you're delivering vital support to service men and women and their families. You're there when they need you, sometimes to provide living essentials, and sometimes just for a friendly chat over a pint.

Our old image of uniformed women serving tea is long gone. It's been replaced by an innovative and dynamic business that's at the leading-edge of retail and leisure developments. Having said that, our traditional standards of service, care and quality are still as strong as ever – and they always will be. We currently have around 1,700 people working in 140 retail stores and 136 leisure establishments.

NAAFI Germany
With five garrisons (areas) in Germany, we offer a wide range of retail stores from 'Express' and 'Family' stores located near to where military personnel live to 'Max' Stores which stocks everything a family needs from groceries to clothing and electrical goods. We also bring over 2000 Tesco own products to our Max stores, so you really get a taste of home.

Our leisure facilities offer a variety of pubs and clubs that have been designed by some of the UK's leading pub and club designers. We're also embarking on an exciting new project that will revolutionise how we operate. The Pay As You Dine (PAYD) project is being successfully trialed in Germany, bringing greater choice to our customers. This has seen the introduction of Bistro's, cafe's and restaurants and with it has brought about exciting opportunities in Catering. Our Central Support office in Germany is essentially a head office function, covering commercial, finance, HR, marketing and IT

Those are exactly the things that our International Division and the Expeditionary Forces Institute (EFI) are here to deliver. We provide retail, leisure and catering services to the military wherever our troops are, we operate across five areas in Germany and employ over 2000 people. It's a truly global operation covering retail shops on board HM Naval Ships, Cyprus, Kenya, Brunei and Gibraltar. We also support the military on exercise in Iraq and Afghanistan where we recruit people into our uniformed division EFI (Expeditionary Forces Institute) - military unit that is officially part of the Territorial Army.

As a Manager your salary will be based upon the turnover of the site and the number sites you are responsible for.
