Swinton Group is the largest high street insurance broker with branches covering 90% of the UK. We offer a unique customer proposition of local presence and Call Centre operations, with over 470 branches across the country, 3 Call Centres (Manchester, Halifax and Norwich), 4 Specialist Insurance Units and a Head Office. We employ over 3000 people in a variety of roles and locations. Our aim is to find the best UK insurance deal from a panel of top insurers for all of our customers. We deal with a variety of insurances from private cars, to hotels, to pubs and even kittens.

For example, we can offer you a higher level of benefits from the list below and a lower actual salary, or a lower level of benefits with a higher actual salary.

Incentive/Bonus

In relevant sales roles each employee has the chance to earn an uncapped performance related incentive. Plus all of Swinton's Branch Senior Managers are eligible for bonuses based on personal and company objectives. Swinton believes in directly rewarding employees for their hard work and creating a win-win situation for the employee and the company.

Childcare Vouchers

Personalised vouchers are provided for payment of childcare which can be used with all legal forms of childcare e.g. childminders, nurseries, out of school schemes. The vouchers enable you to reduce your childcare costs due to potential savings on National Insurance payments.

Holiday

In addition to receiving up to 25 days from continued service, you can also chose to increase your standard holiday entitlement to a maximum of 30 days each year (full-time or part-time equivalent).

Discounts

All members of staff can save up to 50% on certain insurance policies. The Swinton Staff Sales Unit provides advice, as well as our best deal, for insuring everything from your home to your car or even your cat!

Swinton shows it values our employees by extending our discounts to family and friends. Any insurance policy arranged within our Staff Sales Unit will have a discount off our lowest rate!

Life Assurance

This cover provides your dependants and beneficiaries with a tax-free lump sum in the event of your death in service. It provides financial security more cost effectively, and is easier to arrange than if you were to buy the cover yourself, independently. You may increase your cover from the core of 2 x pensionable salary.

Pension

You can elect to join the Company's Stakeholder Pension Scheme funded from your own remuneration package from as little as 0.5% up to 15% of your pensionable salary.

Private Medical Insurance

You can flex into this scheme which is a comprehensive package of benefits and excellent value for money. The cover provides the security of certain levels of private health care should the need arise for you and your family.
