With a population of approximately 289,500, and a wide selection of leisure, recreational and community facilities catering for many arts, sports, social and general interest activities, Sandwell is fast becoming a popular place to live and work.

Sandwell itself is a large multi-cultural area situated in the heart of the Black Country and includes the towns of Oldbury, Rowley Regis, Tipton, Wednesbury, Smethwick and West Bromwich.

It incorporates a vibrant mix of industry and green open spaces, including Sandwell Valley, which offers 2,000 acres of woodland, nature trails, golf courses and water activity areas. What’s more, the local transport network is excellent with good rail connections, the Midland metro which links Birmingham City Centre with Wolverhampton, via West Bromwich, and motorway links via the M5 and M6 that offer access to all parts of the country.
