IT TAKES SOMEONE SPECIAL TO SHAPE THE FUTURE

Rail and Highways staff to support and build on our recent successes

One of the oldest continuously operating engineering firms in the world, Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB) is a leader in consulting, engineering, and design-build for all types of infrastructure and facilities, including transportation, power, water, telecommunications and buildings. A global firm of over 9,000 employees in more than 150 offices around the world, we are proud of our achievements in the engineering design and project management of major Rail and Highways projects - recent success in these markets have been a major factor in our recent award as 2004 NCE/ACE International Consultant of the Year.

Our Europe, Africa and Middle East region has more than 1,200 technical staff working out of 18 offices in the UK. The Rail and Highways Divisions make up the majority of this team, and are looking to grow their teams as a result of recent project wins. The Rail Division is currently supporting clients on light rail, tramways and metro schemes across the region, as well as colleagues in Asia and Australia. Recent exciting wins in the region include the Merseytram Light Rail job, the East London Line project and the Monorail system for the Palm Island project in Dubai.

On the Highways side, PB is currently ranked #1 in the NCE's Consultant File within the 'Global Roads' category, with recognised skills in scheme design and appraisal, development infrastructure, transportation planning and structural engineering. Our key highways clients in the UK include the Highways Agency and Transport for London, with whom we are now working to deliver a wide portfolio of projects - including key transit design projects in East London to support the 2012 Olympics.

The opportunity to work on these and other projects across the region now exists for motivated, talented individuals. In addition, we would be delighted to hear from you should you have experience within the Power, Buildings or Environment sectors in addition to the Rail and Highways opportunities currently posted on Monster.
