Customer Service Advisers

Thornaby / Peterlee / Team Valley - £12,832 with potential to rise to £14,628
(this includes a £1,027 unsociable work allowance for working 12pm-8pm)

The role is based within a call centre environment speaking to customers with a headset and entering details of the conversation into a database. You will deal with a diverse range of enquiries relating to customers’ accounts. Examples include a customer moving house, advice on transferring their services to npower, taking a meter-read or a query about their bill. Customer Service Advisers provide excellent customer service at all times.

Homemovers Adviser

Peterlee

Homemovers Customer Services Advisors take incoming calls from npower customers who are moving home. You will have the opportunity to promote the benefits of npower supplying electricity and gas to their new property and will work to set targets. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively deal with objections.

Customer Services Team Managers

Thornaby / Peterlee / Team Valley

You would be committed to improving our 'you only need to call once' programme through the delivery of excellent Customer Service. You would also be able to demonstrate outstanding people skills including coaching, development and performance management incorporating our 'Smile' culture and techniques leading to our status as 'Employer of Choice'.

You will need to be able to demonstrate:

Outbound Sales Advisers £12,318 per annum + uncapped bonus (OTE £17,500)

Thornaby / Peterlee

Advisers will make outbound calls with the aim of achieving new sales. Outbound calls could either be cold calling, calling previous npower customers or customers who currently have only one single fuel energy supply with npower.

Verification Advisers - £11,805 per annum + approx £100 p.m. bonus

Thornaby

Once a new sale has been created, an adviser from Verification will conduct a call to the customer within one week to confirm all details taken are correct. Verification advisers are targeted on capturing meter reads and Direct Debit details if we do not already possess them, to achieve their bonus payments.

Combined Sales Adviser - £12,318 per annum + uncapped bonus (OTE £17,500)

Advisers will handle incoming calls from potential customers who have seen/heard npower advertising or may only have one energy supply with us with the aim of achieving new sales. Advisers will also be expected to make outbound sales calls. Outbound calls could either be cold calling, calling previous npower customers or customers who currently have only one energy supply with us.

Retention Adviser - £12,318 per annum + uncapped bonus (OTE £17,500)

Advisers will call npower customers who have recently cancelled their contract with us to move to an alternative energy supplier. The aim of each call will be to retain the customer.

Pre-Registration Cancellation Adviser - £11,805 per annum + approx £100 p.m. bonus

Peterlee

Once a new sale has been arranged all customers have the right to a 14-day cooling off period. Should a customer wish to cancel within these 14 days then they will be routed to the Pre-Registration team. Advisors are encouraged to make the customer fully aware of npower’s products, services and benefits so they can make an informed decision.

Also npower customers receive literature from Homeserve who complete home improvements such as central heating systems, showers etc. Should a customer wish to make an appointment with a Homeserve representative, then the Pre-Registration team will arrange this.

Telesales Team Managers

Thornaby / Peterlee

Telesales Team Managers will be able to demonstrate outstanding people skills including coaching, development and performance management.
