Learning Resource Centres

Our in-house Learning Resource Centres in Peterlee and Thornaby provide comprehensive learning packages to help unlock your potential. The Centres offer a variety of creative learning methods tailored to suit individuals' needs, ranging from e-learning, one-to-ones, tailored workshops through to career coaching. A comprehensive reference library is also available in the Centres, providing a range of books and CD-ROMs, enabling you to study at your own pace and in an environment that suits you best. Employees can choose from a range of courses, which reflect personal, vocational and career development needs.

Performance Through People

We believe everyone should be recognised and rewarded for their hard work. Performance Through People sets out clearly what it is you are expected to do and achieve in your role, how you will be supported to do this and what your career development can be within our business. You will regularly discuss your progress and personal needs with your Line Manager. This two-way process ensures your career path is going in the right direction and helps you to achieve your goals.
