The Manchester Airports Group plc (MAG) is the UK's second largest airport group. It comprises the airports of Manchester, the UK’s third largest airport, Nottingham East Midlands, a fast growing base for low cost, charter and cargo airlines and the developing regional airports of Humberside and Bournemouth. The group also runs airport related businesses engaged in property development and management; baggage handling; car parking; security; fire fighting; engineering; advertising and motor transport services.

Together, our four airports handle almost 30 million passengers a year and almost half a million tonnes of cargo.In 2004/05 our business generated a turnover of around £375 million.

We are wholly owned by the 10 local authorities that comprise Greater Manchester, giving it a unique insight into the contribution the aviation industry makes to the UK regional economies.
