Foster Care Associates (FCA) is an innovative independent fostering agency working with local authorities to place young people from a range of diverse backgrounds into safe and stable environments.

Established in 1994 by a foster carer and Social Worker, FCA is now celebrating its 10 year anniversary. It has grown to employ 650 staff across 17 regions and UK countries and is still growing which is why we are looking for dedicated individuals to join us.

FCA has discovered that by working in partnership with carers and offering readily available support, it could offer positive experiences and help children and young people achieve their full potential. This basic philosophy still governs all that FCA does which is why we are only looking for the best to join us.

FCA have strong family values and have developed a successful 'team parenting' approach to looking after children in care. We employ multidisciplinary teams; Education Liaison Officers who work alongside education providers to give our young people the support they deserve, Family Therapists who provide guidance to the children and carers and Social Workers, who have smaller workloads with FCA so they can concentrate on the support given to Foster carers and their children.

FCA value its staff, carers and children and hold many events throughout the year to recognise this, from staff conferences, exhibitions of our childrens' art to grand tours of the country. We are actively involved in charity events including a growing London Marathon running team and local arranged charity events - this only goes to add to the infectious team spirit of FCA.

From Foster Carers to Social Workers, we only want the best people. People who care enough and are determined enough to be that vital, positive influence in our children's lives. If you can demonstrate your ability we'd love to hear from you.

FCA have various support groups including an Employee forum, Carer forum and a Black Workers forum which meet on a regular basis to share concerns and offer positive encouragement to all employees.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are an equal opportunities employer. All recruitment decisions are made on the basis of qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience and relevant business requirements.

UK law requires all non-EU nationals to be in possession of a valid work permit before they are able to work in the UK. Please only apply for positions with FCA if you are authorised to work in the UK or if you are in possession of a valid permit to work
