Casio Electronics Co. Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Casio Computer Company Limited

based in Japan, which is one of the  world's leading consumer and business electronics companies . The UK Company was established in 1975 and has been based at it's current site at Staples Corner, London NW2 since 1982. Our main business is in the sales, marketing and support of Casio products in UK and Eire

Since it's inception Casio has been at the forefront in the development of electronic calculators, timepieces, musical instruments, LCD TVs, pagers and other communications devices. Casio has a considerable number of world firsts and innovative products such as; ink jet printers, digital watches, digital dairies, pocket TV's, palm size PC's and digital cameras. Each of our product divisions comprises of specialist staff in sales, marketing and administration. In addition our support divisions comprise of customer service staff, technical support staff, administrators and we have specialists within our finance and personnel division.

Things you didn't know about Casio

  • More than 1.6 million UK teenagers use a Casio calculator in school, everyday.
    Casio developed the first electronic musical instrument in 1980; Casio produces a wide range of digital pianos, electronic keyboards and minikeys.
  • The original Casio calculator weighted 30 kilograms. It was due to be unveiled at an exhibition in 1956 but was too large to fit on to the plane. It was disassembled and then when put back together, failed to work.
  • Casio not only designs and manufactures its products, it also retails them. It has a store 'Casio@Carnaby' where it can showcase the newest and most innovative products to the public.
  • In 2002, Casio sold 40 million calculators globally. In total, the company is nearing sales of one billion calculators since the Casio brothers built the first portable calculator in 1956.
  • 2003 marks the twentieth anniversary of G Shock Watches - the preferred watch of US Navy SEALS.
