MANDATORY RECRUITMENT CHECKS
As an equal opportunity employer, all candidates are required to complete the same vetting procedure before being allowed to work through Quay Education Services.
Our vetting procedure outlined below, meets all the requirements of the DfES Quality Kite Mark:-
- Interview – All candidates must complete a QES application form when they attend a face-to-face interview.
- Qualifications – We sight and copy original certificates for our files.
- Identity – An authentic document verifying the identity of the candidate is required.
- List 99 and Police Clearance – List 99 are carried out immediately after registration. Quay Services Group is a registered body with the Criminal Records Bureau and carries out enhanced CRB disclosures for all teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Applicants are asked to produce an original proof of address that is less than three months old.
- Health Declaration – all candidates are required to complete a health check.
- GTC Registration – All teachers with QTS should be members of General Teaching Council.
- References – We require a minimum of 2 years recent, relevant, professional or academic written references. One must be the most recent employer.
